Speaker Muhmmad Aslam Bhootani Seeks Shifting of Hangol Dam Site

Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly Muhammad Aslam Bhootani has said that following Balochistan Assembly resolution the site of Hangol Dam should be shifted to some other place.
He expressed these views while talking to a team of experts of WAPDA house Lahore, led by project direction planing.
On this occasion both sides discussed the resolution regarding Hangol Dam, which was passed by Balochistan Assembly.
The Speaker apprised the WAPDA team about the reservations of minority MPAs specially the Hindu community on the Dam and urged them to change the site of the Dam as per recommendation of Provincial Government ad in compliance with the resolution passed by Balochistan Provincial Assembly.
He also lauded the construction of Winder Dam which has been completed with a cast of Rs. 4 Billion.
The construction of Winder Dam would pare way for a green revolution in district Lasbella and cast positive impacts on socio economic situation of the province, Bhootani added.
