Rupees 250 million development projects to be under taken

HUB:  Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly Muhammad Aslam bhootani has said that during the current financial year 2009-10 Rupees 250 million development projects would be under taken in his constituency PB-45 Lasbela while Rupees 2.5 Billion Winder Dam is in addition on which WAPDA would start work during the current year.

Addressing a Press Conference at his Mass Contact Office on Thursday,  Aslam Bhootani said that service of the masses is important point of his manifesto and he has always tried to provide facilities to the people at thier door step and he would do the same in the future also.

He said Prime Minister had provided Rupees 13 million for electrification of villages in Sakran and Dureji.  These funds have been released to the concerned department.

He said Rupees 50 million would be spent on various schemes in Winder, Liari, Lakhra, Bela, Gaddani, and Hub under MPA scheme.  Deserving zamindars would be given Rupees 3 million bulldozer hours.  He said Federal Government has approved Rupees 125 million for building 8 small dams in Dureji.  Funds have also been earmarked for conductiing survey for the supply of gas to Sakran.  Rupees 40 million would be spent on building Miran Pir Road in Winder for which tenders would be floated during the current week. 

Bhootani said that it was possible due the efforts and wise leadership of the Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani.

He also thanked President Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani who helped Balochistan during its financial crisis and provided more funds.
