7th July 2010Rs: 200 Million to be Spent on Uplift Scehmes: Speaker Aslam Bhootani
HUB: Speaker Balochistan Assembly Aslam Bhootani has said that Rs 200 million would be spent on different development schemes in his constituency and other different areas of Lasbella. He expressed these views while talking to media men during his visit to Hub the other day.
Speaker Aslam Bhootani said that Rs 60 million would be incurred on electrification including Pirkas,Peral Mangyani Goth, Wahbora Goth and Raho Bizinjo Goth, while Quetta-Lasbela road would be completed this year. Speaker Aslam Bhootani further told that in the ongoing development spree 30 new water supply schemes would also be launched in different villages which would help fulfill agriculture and drinking water needs of the area. Besides, Rs: 30 million would also be spent on educational uplift, he added. Speaker Balochistan Assembly admitted that law and order was not good in the province however, he said as compared to other provinces it was much better. He said that provincial government led by Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani was making sincere efforts to overcome target killings, saying restoration of levies would certainly help improve law order in the province. Responding to a query about Chief Minister's statement on fake degrees the Speaker said that Chief Minister gave that statement to media men as a joke only.
