Balochistan Provincial Assembly Speaker, Muhammad Aslam Bhootani Backs Balochistan Package

Quetta Dec 10: Balochistan Assembly Speaker Aslam Bhootani has welcomed steps taken by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for improving the situatioon in teh troubled province.

In a statement on Thursday, he said that removal of unnecessary security check posts, opening of the border with Iran at Mand and other steps taken by the premier to ease the Balochistan crisis would help in restoring the confidence of Baloch people in the Federal Government.

He said that providing 10,000 jobs to the youth of Balochistan in government departments and other state-run institutions would help reduce unemployement in the province.

Mr. Bhootani also lauded the efforts of Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani for reconciliation with nationalist parties.
