German Delegation Calls on Speaker Aslam Bhootani

Quetta Member of German Parliament Mrs. Elke Hoff called on Speaker Balochistan Assembly Muhammad Aslam Bhootani here today. She was accompanied by Defense Attache Lt. Colonel Mr. Walf and D.H.M Mr. Roken.

 

The two sides on this occasion discussed various issues of mutual interest. Speaker Aslam Bhootani on this occasion told the delegation area wise Balochistan is spread over half of the Country and was rich with mineral and natural resources. But, he said and added that it was an irony of fate that people of this province were deprived of basic facilities of life. Aslam Bhootani said that the present government was taking practical steps to remove backwardness of the Province. The Speaker told the delegation that Quetta was a peaceful city and Talban or their Shura does not exists in this city at all. He said that we have brotherly relations with , adding people in Balochistan believe in peace.

Later, the Speaker presented a gift of traditional wear "Chadar" to the member German Parliament.

The delegation on this occasion also visited different sections of the parliament.
